Short profile for a forward riding position

The Aeolus RSL features a shorter profile than traditional saddles together with a wider nose. This shape is designed for riders who rotate their pelvis further forward and adopt a more aggressive riding position.

The design is developed to work for riders of any gender and follows the Race Posture 2 concept, intended for a forward, performance-oriented riding position.

Full saddle cutout

The full saddle cutout extends from the nose towards the rear of the saddle. Its purpose is to reduce soft-tissue pressure when the rider rotates the pelvis and moves into a more forward position.

This is particularly relevant for a racing-oriented saddle, where an aerodynamic position can increase pressure towards the front of the saddle.

Carbon construction for low weight

The Aeolus RSL uses a full carbon shell combined with 7x10 mm oversized carbon rails. Minimal bonded padding helps keep the overall weight and profile low.

For the available widths, Trek lists an approximate weight of 142 g for the 145 mm version and 146 g for the 155 mm version. Actual production weight may vary slightly.

Check seatpost compatibility

The Aeolus RSL uses 7x10 mm oversized oval rails. Trek specifies that the saddle should only be used with a Bontrager seatpost equipped with clamps compatible with 7x10 mm oversized rails or with a two-bolt clamping system.

Before installation, always check that the seatpost clamp is compatible with the saddle's rail dimensions.
