Northwave Corsair 2: MTB freedom on and off the bike

🚵‍♂️ The Northwave Corsair 2 MTB shoes are designed for trail riding and for adventures where you can step off the bike and continue exploring on foot.

Their key feature is the Damp Evo sole, a walkable clipless sole with a natural rubber tread designed to combine grip on the ground, control on the bike and greater comfort when walking.

Damp Evo sole

🥾 The Damp Evo sole is designed to provide a balance between cycling performance and walkability.

The natural rubber tread helps provide grip on the ground, while the flexibility of the sole improves comfort when walking and during longer, more demanding rides.

The sole is compatible with clipless pedals and features a 35 mm cleat travel.

Ripstop upper and protection

🛡️ The upper combines a breathable Ripstop mesh with TPU inserts on the toe and heel, designed to improve protection against impacts.

The TPU inserts also help increase abrasion resistance in the areas most exposed during trail riding.

SLW3 closure system

🎯 The SLW3 closure system allows quick and precise fit adjustment.

The X-Dial system uses a compact dial for micro-adjustment, while the side button allows the closure to be released. A Velcro strap completes the system and provides additional fit adjustment.

Comfort on the bike

✨ The EVA insole is designed to help absorb impacts, while the new padding in the upper part of the tongue improves comfort around the instep.

The EVA midsole also helps keep the shoe lightweight while contributing to impact absorption.
