Northwave Origin Plus 2 MTB Shoes

The Northwave Origin Plus 2 are cycling shoes designed for cross-country MTB, with features that also make them suitable for gravel riding. The design combines a sufficiently stiff sole for pedaling, a breathable upper and an adjustable closure system.

Speedlight 3D sole

The Speedlight 3D sole features 3 different densities and a 10.0 stiffness index. The construction is designed to provide a balance between stiffness and low weight, with a tread featuring lugs that help provide support when walking off the bike.

Unibody upper and ventilation

The upper uses a seamless unibody construction designed to reduce pressure points. The surface features micro-holes and breathable mesh inserts to promote ventilation during riding.

A thermowelded TPU toe reinforcement helps protect the front section of the shoe from impacts and wear.

SLW3 closure + strap

The closure system combines an SLW3 dial with an additional strap. The SLW3 system allows progressive fit adjustment and release through its dedicated button.
