Campagnolo Bora WTO 45 C23 DB: speed and control

The Campagnolo Bora WTO 45 C23 DB is a carbon road wheelset developed for riders looking for an effective balance of aerodynamics, stability and handling.

Its 45 mm rim depth is designed to perform on fast sections while maintaining a controlled and responsive feel when the road becomes more technical. The 23 mm internal rim width is suited to modern wider road tyres, while the 2-Way Fit system allows the use of both clincher and tubeless tyres.

45 mm carbon rim profile

The carbon-fibre rim features a 45 mm depth and 23 mm internal width. This configuration is designed to balance aerodynamic performance with handling characteristics for modern disc-brake road bikes.

The C23 rim profile is designed around wider tyres than traditional road setups, providing a suitable platform for current road bikes and tyre configurations.

Campagnolo G3 spoke pattern

One of the defining features of the Bora WTO range is the Campagnolo G3 spoke pattern. The spokes are arranged according to a 2:1 configuration, with the distribution adapted to the specific requirements of the front and rear wheels.

On the front wheel, the spoke layout takes braking loads into account, while the rear wheel configuration is designed to manage both braking forces and the loads generated when transferring pedalling power.

Aluminium hubs with USB bearings

The Bora WTO 45 C23 uses aluminium hubs with USB cup-and-cone bearings. The aluminium axle system is designed specifically for disc-brake road applications.

2-Way Fit for clincher and tubeless tyres

The 2-Way Fit system allows the wheelset to be used with clincher or tubeless tyres, giving riders greater flexibility when choosing their preferred setup.

The wheelset also includes tubeless valves, a valve-hole reduction bushing and two composite tyre levers.

Disc-brake compatibility

This version of the Bora WTO 45 C23 is designed for disc brakes with a Center Lock/AFS interface. The wheelset uses a 12×100 mm front axle and 12×142 mm rear axle.
