SRAM Eagle 90 T-Type: mechanical Eagle Transmission

The SRAM Eagle 90 T-Type brings Eagle Transmission technology to a mechanical shifting configuration. It is a 1x12-speed rear derailleur built around T-Type actuation and a Full Mount design derived from the Eagle Transmission platform.

Full Mount interface

The Full Mount system replaces the traditional derailleur hanger mounting and requires a frame compatible with the UDH standard. The derailleur attaches directly to the frame interface specified for the Eagle Transmission system.

T-Type actuation and 12-speed shifting

The T-Type actuation system uses a dedicated cable pull ratio developed for the Eagle 90 transmission, designed to provide precise and consistent shifting.

The derailleur is designed for 1x12-speed drivetrains and supports cassettes with a maximum sprocket of 52 teeth, with a 10-tooth minimum sprocket.

Designed for serviceability

A key feature of the Eagle 90 is the ability to replace several components of the derailleur body. Replacement parts are available for the skid plates, outer and inner parallelogram links and cage assembly.

The cage also uses a tool-free threaded assembly, simplifying maintenance and service operations.

Aluminium cage

The long cage is made from aluminium and is designed to accommodate cassettes with a maximum 52-tooth sprocket. SRAM specifies a weight of 395 g.

Compatibility and drivetrain configuration

The derailleur is designed for the SRAM Eagle T-Type Transmission platform and T-Type chains. For e-MTB/Pedelec configurations, SRAM specifies that the Eagle 90 should be used with a Single Click shifter.
