The Giant Reign Advanced Pro 29 2 is an enduro mountain bike built to tackle technical trails, demanding descents and rough terrain with a full-suspension platform designed around control and stability.

The bike combines an Advanced-Grade Composite frame, 29-inch wheels and a full-suspension system offering 146 mm of rear travel and 170 mm at the front. A setup developed specifically around the demands of modern enduro riding.

🏔️ Advanced Composite frame and Maestro suspension

The frame uses Advanced-Grade Composite for both the front and rear triangles and incorporates Giant's Maestro suspension system with 146 mm of rear travel.

The platform is designed specifically around 29-inch wheels, combining high-speed stability with control on technical sections and challenging terrain.

The Maestro system uses four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages to create a single floating pivot, allowing the suspension to remain active as the trail becomes rough and uneven.

🛠️ RockShox ZEB Select 170 mm

At the front, the Reign features a RockShox ZEB Select fork with 170 mm of travel, Charger RC damper, 15x110 mm Maxle Stealth axle and 44 mm offset.

The fork is custom tuned for Giant and provides a platform suited to enduro riding, where front-end control and impact absorption are essential on demanding sections of trail.

🔧 RockShox Deluxe Select+ rear shock

The rear suspension uses a RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock measuring 205x60 mm, with a Trunnion mount and a custom tune for Giant.

Combined with the Maestro suspension system and 146 mm of rear travel, the shock is designed to keep the rear wheel controlled and active across technical terrain.

🔄 SRAM NX Eagle 1x12

The drivetrain is built around SRAM NX Eagle 1x12, providing a straightforward and functional setup for enduro riding.

The 11-50T cassette offers a wide gear range for demanding climbs, while the TruVativ Descendant 6K DUB 32T crankset completes the 1x12 drivetrain.

🛑 Four-piston Shimano brakes

Braking is handled by Shimano BR-MT520 four-piston hydraulic brakes with 203 mm RT-66 rotors at both the front and rear.

This combination provides the braking power required for long descents and demanding trail sections where precise speed control is essential.

🛞 29-inch wheels and Maxxis tyres

The Reign Advanced Pro 29 2 uses Giant AM 29 alloy wheels with Shimano hubs and Sapim spokes.

The setup is completed by Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5 WT tyres at the front and Maxxis Minion DHR II 29x2.4 WT at the rear, both featuring EXO+ casing and tubeless-ready construction.

The bike is supplied tubeless prepared and supports tyres up to 2.5 inches wide.

⬇️ TranzX travel-adjustable dropper post

The TranzX travel-adjustable dropper post allows the rider to change saddle height directly from the handlebar, providing greater freedom of movement during technical descents and demanding trail sections.

For size M, the specified travel is adjustable from 140 to 170 mm.

📐 Enduro geometry

The Reign platform is designed around 29-inch wheels, with a 64.6° head tube angle and 76.4° seat tube angle.

For size M, the reach is 451 mm and the chainstay length is 439 mm. This geometry creates a stable and centred riding position suited to modern enduro riding.
