The Roval Alpinist Cockpit II combines the handlebar and stem in a single high-modulus carbon fibre structure. Designed for road and gravel bikes, it pairs low weight with ergonomic features intended to improve comfort and control while riding.

Its integrated construction creates a clean appearance and a streamlined cockpit setup. It is designed for riders seeking to reduce cockpit weight without compromising comfort on longer rides.

Retül and Body Geometry ergonomics

The handlebar tops have been developed using Retül and Body Geometry data. The D-shaped ergonomic profile provides 12% more surface area in the upper section than the previous generation, offering a larger contact area for the hands.

The geometry features a 75 mm reach, a 125 mm drop and 4° of flare at the drops. These dimensions help define hand positioning and control while riding.

Comfort and vibration damping

The Roval Alpinist Cockpit II delivers a stated 28.3% increase in damping compared with the Roval Rapide Cockpit. This feature is designed to improve comfort on longer rides by helping reduce vibrations transmitted from the road surface.

The stated weight is 270 g for the 400 mm handlebar and 100 mm stem configuration. Actual weight may vary depending on the selected size.

Cable routing and compatibility

The cockpit is designed to accommodate cable routing for Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo systems. Before purchasing, check compatibility with your bicycle's frame, headset and cable-routing system.

The Roval Alpinist Cockpit II is not compatible with clip-on aero extensions. The package includes the Roval bolt-on computer mount, top cap and steerer tube bolt.
