The Castelli Perfetto 4 is a versatile cycling jacket designed for riders looking for the right balance of protection, warmth and breathability on cool and changeable days.
Its key feature is the 219 g Polartec® AirCore™ fabric, which incorporates an electrospun membrane that is partially air permeable. This construction provides protection from wind and rain while maintaining a high level of breathability. The jacket also offers light insulation for cool conditions and can be used with an additional thermal layer when temperatures drop further.
The heart of the Perfetto 4 is the exclusive Polartec® AirCore™ fabric in a 219 g construction. Its electrospun, air-permeable membrane is designed to combine protection from the elements with effective moisture management.
The fabric is also designed to become more effective as riding intensity increases, eliminating the need for traditional zippered ventilation openings.
The Perfetto 4 provides protection from wind and rain, making it particularly suitable for cool conditions and rides where the weather may change during the day.
The shoulder seams feature Chameleon tape to improve protection from rain, while the YKK® Vislon® zipper is covered to provide additional protection against wind and water.
The Polartec® AirCore™ fabric provides light insulation designed for cool riding conditions. Castelli recommends the Perfetto 4 for temperatures between 4°C and 12°C.
For colder conditions, the jacket can be combined with an additional thermal layer.
