ASSOS Spring Fall SS Skin Layer P1: a base layer for cooler conditions

The ASSOS Spring Fall SS Skin Layer P1 is a men's short sleeve base layer designed to be worn as the first layer when temperatures drop, without relying on a heavy construction.

This latest generation has been developed to provide increased warmth across the central part of the body, improved breathability and greater coverage around the throat, while reducing weight compared with the previous generation.

Targeted insulation on the front

The front panel uses a denser knit structure, designed to increase thermal insulation across the part of the body most exposed to cold conditions.

This construction concentrates warmth where it is most useful while keeping the other areas lighter.

Breathability across the back and underarms

The back and underarm areas feature a more open knit structure, designed to help release excess heat and improve breathability.

The different fabric structures help regulate body temperature while riding, particularly when the intensity of the effort increases.

Increased throat coverage

Compared with the previous generation, the Spring Fall SS Skin Layer P1 provides increased coverage around the collar for additional protection during cooler rides.

Close-to-skin construction

The Regular fit is designed to keep the fabric close to the body and make use of its thermoregulating properties.

The garment also uses a single fabric cut, reducing the need for seams and therefore potential sources of friction.

Carbon fibers and odorControl technology

The soft, highly breathable fabric incorporates carbon fibers, contributing to the garment's technical properties and odor management.

odorControl technology provides a permanent antimicrobial effect.

For temperatures from +12 to +20°C

ASSOS rates the Spring Fall SS Skin Layer P1 for temperatures between approximately +12 and +20°C, in cold riding conditions.

It is designed to be combined with a Spring Fall jersey or jacket, with additional rain protection added when required by the conditions.
