SRAM Maven Silver B1: power and control

💥 More power when you need it, more control when it matters. The SRAM Maven Silver B1 is a high-performance hydraulic disc brake designed for modern MTB riding, combining a stiff 4-piston caliper with 18 mm pistons and the redesigned SwingLink architecture.

The B1 version is tuned to provide a lighter initial lever feel and a more consistent, predictable power delivery throughout the lever stroke, with higher braking power available towards the end of the stroke. This makes it particularly easy to adapt the braking feel to different riding styles and ergonomic preferences.

Designed for precise braking control

⚙️ The SwingLink architecture controls the leverage curve of the lever, providing smoother power delivery and improved modulation.

The 4-piston caliper with 18 mm pistons is designed to deliver high braking power while managing heat effectively, helping maintain consistent performance during demanding rides.

🎯 The lever features both tool-free Reach Adjust and Contact Point Adjust, allowing you to customise the lever position and braking feel without requiring additional tools.

Mineral Oil hydraulic system

🛠️ Maven uses a mineral oil hydraulic system and is designed specifically for use with Maxima Mineral Brake Oil. Using the correct fluid is essential for proper brake performance and system reliability.

Rear configuration with 2000 mm hose

📏 This version is supplied in the rear configuration with a 2000 mm hydraulic hose, making it suitable for a wide range of MTB setups where additional hose length is required.

The brake is supplied with the brake lever, MMX clamp, caliper, brake pads and hydraulic hose. Brake rotor is not included.
