Specialized S-Works Epic World Cup

The new Epic World Cup is designed to be the fastest XC race bike on smooth courses, combining unparalleled efficiency, control, and lightness. The frame is one of the most sophisticated in Specialized's history, setting a new standard for torsional rigidity and bottom bracket stiffness. This stiffness, combined with the revolutionary suspension system, keeps the tires always attached to the ground for increased control and speed.

The weight of the frame, with the shock and all components, is only 1,765 grams, which helps improve handling and especially climbing performance thanks to faster acceleration. The suspensions have been designed by the Specialized Ride Dynamics team to provide the Epic WC with the efficiency of a hardtail and the control of a full-suspension bike, making its 75mm of travel feel much more thanks to the optimization of air volumes and damping characteristics. This allows the bike to handle harsher impacts with the dedicated MegaJounce bumper.

The RockShox SID Deluxe WCID shock integrates adjustable positive and negative air springs, while in the fork, the BRAIN system continues to deliver excellent performance with Position-Sensitive technology, without the need for manual levers or locks. Therefore, the Epic World Cup not only offers an incredibly efficient ride but is also ready to tackle the most technical descents of XC race circuits.
