When the trail gets steep, technical and demanding, the Giant Reign Advanced E+ 2 delivers a platform designed to handle challenging descents with control and confidence.
The Advanced Composite frame, 170 mm of Maestro rear suspension and 180 mm fork work together with a powerful electric drive system to create an e-MTB designed for riders who want to push their limits on demanding enduro trails.
The MX setup with a 29" front wheel and 27.5" rear wheel completes the package, with components specifically selected for technical terrain and challenging descents. 🚵
The Maestro suspension system uses four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages to create a floating pivot design. On the Reign Advanced E+ 2, it provides 170 mm of rear travel, combined with a 180 mm fork.
Its progressive compression curve is designed to provide a smooth initial part of the travel and increased support towards the end of the stroke, helping the suspension handle big impacts, steep descents and technical rocky sections.
The geometry can also be adjusted using the Flip Chip - Maestro 3, which provides three positions and changes the head tube and seat tube angles as well as bottom bracket height.
The heart of the Reign Advanced E+ 2 is the Giant SyncDrive Pro 3, a 48-volt drive system delivering up to 90 Nm of torque and 800 W of peak power.
The torque and support levels can be adjusted to suit your riding style and the terrain. You can use higher assistance when tackling steep climbs or reduce the support to manage energy consumption on longer rides.
The PedalPlus 6-Sensor system monitors several riding parameters, including pedalling torque, cadence, speed, terrain gradient and acceleration.
The information collected by the sensors allows the system to determine the appropriate level of motor assistance, helping deliver a natural and balanced riding experience across changing terrain.
The integrated EnergyPak Smart 560 Wh battery powers the Giant 48-volt system. Using the Giant EnergyPak Smart 4A charger, the battery can reach 80% capacity in approximately two hours.
Giant indicates an approximate range of 45 km in extreme conditions, 90 km in good conditions and up to 160 km in ideal conditions. Actual range can vary depending on temperature, wind, tyre pressure and profile, terrain, rider weight and power, acceleration, bike maintenance and battery condition.
The EnergyPak 560 is also rated for up to 2,300 full charge cycles.
The frame uses Giant's Advanced Composite technology, with high-performance raw carbon fibre and a custom resin formula produced at Giant's composite facility.
The modified monocoque construction is designed to combine low weight, stiffness and responsiveness, while the composite structure also helps absorb vibrations generated by demanding terrain.
The Reign Advanced E+ 2 allows you to adjust the riding position through a three-position flip chip in the headset.
You can choose between short, medium and long positions in 5 mm increments, allowing the reach and cockpit dimensions to be adapted to your riding style and the terrain.
