The Carbon-Ti X-Carboring EVO 50T is a lightweight outer road chainring designed for high-performance road bikes. It is part of Carbon-Ti's latest X-Carboring EVO generation and combines a composite structure made from AL7075-T6 aluminium and carbon fibre with titanium components.

The chainring features 50 teeth, a 110 mm BCD with a 4-arm configuration and a claimed weight of just 97 g. It is specifically designed for selected Shimano Dura-Ace and Ultegra 12-speed cranksets, as well as several power meter systems.

🪶 Composite Aluminium and Carbon Fibre Construction

The X-Carboring EVO uses a composite structure combining AL7075-T6 aluminium with structural 3K carbon fibre. This construction is designed to provide a lightweight chainring while maintaining a high level of stiffness.

Compared with previous generations, the EVO outer chainrings use thicker carbon fibre plates, allowing more elaborate CNC machining and increased structural stiffness.

🔩 Grade 5 Titanium Pins and Fast Shifting

The Grade 5 titanium pins have been redesigned to help transfer the chain from the smaller chainring to the larger one.

Together with the machined shifting ramps, these elements are designed to provide fast and precise front shifting with both electronic and mechanical derailleurs.

⚙️ Shimano and Power Meter Compatibility

The X-Carboring EVO 50 x 110 is compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace FC-9200 and Ultegra FC-8100 cranksets, as well as SRM Origin, Rotor Power Meter INSpider and the Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9200-P power meter crankset.

Compatibility is provided for Shimano 11- and 12-speed groups and chains, as well as SRAM 11-speed groups.

Not compatible with SRAM AXS 12-speed groupsets. For these drivetrains, the dedicated X-AXS chainrings should be selected.

🔧 Requires a 34T Inner Chainring

The X-Carboring EVO 50T must be installed together with the X-CarboRing 34 x 110 (4-arm) inner chainring.

For installation on a Shimano Dura-Ace 9200 12-speed crankset, Carbon-Ti recommends the specifically shaped X-Cover DA9200 kit, made from AL7075-T6 aluminium.

Alternatively, the X-Fix ROAD kit is available, featuring laser-engraved details and a range of anodised colours.
