The Carbon-Ti X-Carboring EVO 52T is a lightweight outer road chainring designed for high-performance road bikes. It belongs to the X-Carboring EVO family, Carbon-Ti's evolution of lightweight chainrings featuring a composite structure made from aluminium alloy and carbon fibre.

The chainring features 52 teeth, a 110 mm BCD with a 4-arm configuration and a claimed weight of 104 g. It is specifically designed for Shimano Dura-Ace and Ultegra 12-speed cranksets and selected power meter systems.

🪶 Composite Aluminium and Carbon Fibre Construction

The X-Carboring EVO combines AL7075-T6 aluminium alloy with structural 3K carbon fibre with a glossy finish. Compared with previous generations, the EVO outer chainrings use thicker carbon fibre plates to increase stiffness and allow more elaborate CNC machining.

This construction is designed to keep weight low while providing a highly rigid chainring for demanding road use and precise shifting performance.

🔩 Titanium Pins and Fast Shifting

The Grade 5 titanium elements have been redesigned to work together with the shifting ramps and help transfer the chain from the smaller chainring to the larger one.

The combination of the machined ramps and titanium elements enables fast shifting with both electronic and mechanical derailleurs.

⚙️ Shimano and Power Meter Compatibility

The X-Carboring EVO 52 x 110 is compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace FC-9200 and Ultegra FC-8100 cranksets, as well as SRM Origin, Rotor Power Meter INSpider and the Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9200-P power meter crankset.

Compatibility is provided for Shimano 11- and 12-speed groupsets and chains, as well as SRAM 11-speed groupsets.

Not compatible with SRAM AXS 12-speed groupsets. For these drivetrains, the dedicated X-AXS chainrings should be selected.

🔧 Requires a 36T Inner Chainring

The X-Carboring EVO 52T must be installed together with the X-CarboRing 36 x 110 (4-arm) inner chainring.

For installation on a Shimano Dura-Ace 9200 12-speed crankset, Carbon-Ti recommends the specifically shaped X-Cover DA9200 kit, made from AL7075-T6 aluminium.

Alternatively, the X-Fix ROAD kit is available, featuring laser-engraved details and a range of anodised colours.
